Hi all !
I'm sitting between 7th and 8th in a parking lot and I'm observing my surroundings . There is homeless man pushing and overflowing target cart . He goes up on a curb and a few things fall out ,I watch if anyone helps him. Noone does . I then think to myself as were wrapping up our lunch ,how much food we wasted or threw away . If the P.A. would let me move I would have gone and given him some food . It's so heart breaking how selfish we have become . People on the lunch line were complaining that there food was taking to long.There are so many people who complain about such insignificant things,my coffee isn't hot enough,Starbucks didn't have my muffin . It's so sad how people have become,don't get me wrong ,I catch myself complaining a lot. Then I realize my life and how blessed I am.I sometimes think homeless people are reminders to us whiners that we have it pretty good .When you go to throw away half a sandwich or your left over chipotle ,it may be trash to us but it may be a feast to another. People spend so much time and money into material things,that are not made to last . You can change thr batterie ,tire,new paint job,the works,but eventually it will die. Materialistic things are not made to last . People spend so much money on things that will not last but when a homeless organization asks for a dollar we sneer away . But homeless people and the kids in Africa with the flys on their face will always be there . We are all so wrapped up in ourselves to notice these small but significant details. I love this quote," one man's trash is another man's treasure ",really think about that. We put so much faith in items that don't last,we get them to make ourselves feel more important .Now again I'm guilty just as the next person,We need to pit our faith and hope into something much greater . Jesus Christ .No on not using his name in vain,I am a believer in Christ and I don't know when it did not become ok to say that but I an and who doesn't like it can suck it . Next time you see a homeless person look at them,their face. Now if they are crazy or drunk which 72% of them mostly are keep walking but let's just all pull our head out of our butts and notice others .
