Hi everyone,
It's good to be back and thanks for having me Carol.
Man have I been M.I.A.. I have good stuff though for all you readers out there! First off I would like to start by saying I will be performing at "Ultimate Improv" Theatre this Wednesday the 28th! You all 4 should come out and see me, I am super excited to make myself look like an idiot!
I just recently got back from a lovely trip from Washington with my beau Nicholas. O yes new news, Nicholas is my man, he is amazing and treats me as a boyfriend or how any man should to a lady. Men take notes!
Washington weather was fabulous, we were visiting my parents who own a home up in Anacortes. Their home is beautiful. It just is a real mental vacation to go up there. I know traffic, ***holes, being cut off or cussed at, dealing with ignorant people is fun but going to washington where you can see a bald eagle flying is much more my cup of tea. Yes we did in deed see about 4 different bald , with no hair eagles! They were magnificent. Got a snap shot of that of course. Another thing that this Anacortes land has, THRIFT STORES!!! While Nicholas and my Daddy went to the local coffee shop, my mom and I cleaned out every thrift store! Aw the thrift of a thrift store.
On a Saturday, once a month they have "shipwreck" days! Now this is a huge event up in Anacortes, Washington. Buisness's close early, on the day some stores are closed, I mean this a big deal, we do not mess around. "Shipwreck" day means a huge garage sale! It takes up about an entire street! Full of old antiques, beanie baby's, tupperware, everything you could think of. One man's trash is another man's treasure.
Now back in LA, working hard, another great event happened. A break through. I was working an audience job, yes that says enough in itself, but Nicholas and I make a serious decision. We are done with background work and I am sure if anyone has worked background they understand. Long story short, we just walked out, used some of my acting skills, and just left and said screw this. I am better than background, not saying people are bad who do it, I am not judging. I am just lowering my bar. I am moving up, working hard to land my own role, show, film, whatever comes my way! I am talented and I got wrapped up in this dumb background world, being afraid if i do not show up or I wont get work. Work for what?Worry for what? Background? Who cares! I am not background material. I am not made to be in background. Again not saying I am better but c' mon no one deserves to be treated how they treat people in background.
Well I have lot's to do but that's just a taste of my life, O and also check me out on the CW, on the new upcoming show "Plain Jane"!
